This is all about YOU. Your Boudoir Session is your chance to showcase your own unique style.
There are no rules about what to wear,
only that you must LOVE everything you bring!
You don't need to go shopping for your boudoir shoot unless you want to, and you certainly don't have to head out to any fancy stores to find some great items that you can rock at your shoot!
My sessions have time for TWO different outfits and then one nude or "in-the-sheets" look at the end! I do recommend trying to incorporate different styles (lingerie set or bodysuit or clothing piece, etc.) as well as some color, but if you're an all black eeeeverything girl, that's fine too!
Bring whatever you love! Use this as an opportunity to showcase your unique style and personal taste!
Boudoir Session Shopping Cart Inspiration
I've come up with a few cute sample shopping carts full of outfit choices below that are available at very affordable and accessible stores, but take these with a grain of salt! I picked a more conservative/covered outfit, something more risque and something in between. Pick outfits that are true to you and your own person style! Use these ideas as inspiration and then go on the hunt for your own perfect pieces!!
LOOK #3: In the sheets...
I also ALWAYS recommend doing a tasteful implied nude or "in-the-sheets" set of shots. It may feel like all of your business is exposed and that your least favorite areas might be more visible, but I promise you that white sheets are some of the most flattering "outfits" that we can work with! Shooting in your birthday-suit makes the images all about YOU and not about cheesy props or what you are wearing.
To me, shooting in between the sheets is the BEST of boudoir. It's all about showing YOU your most beautiful self.
